Our Story
GCS, Inc. was founded in 2002 by Brian Goodsell and his father Bob Goodsell. Brian brought nearly two decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry, while Bob contributed approximately four decades of expertise. With a shared passion for doing the job right and a commitment to quality craftsmanship, they set out to build a company that clients could trust from the ground up — literally. In 2006, Brian purchased his father's share of the business, becoming the sole owner and continuing the legacy they had built together.

Over the past two decades, GCS, Inc. has grown into a respected name in commercial site preparation across Tennessee and Virginia. Holding contractor's licenses in both states, we specialize in grading, excavation, waste water management, and utilities installation, serving some of the most demanding commercial projects in the region.
